Tied Up

We are tied up in the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor. This morning we hit the ground running with errands. We first called customs who notified Agriculture. We then sorted out boat slip details and waited for customs and agriculture to meet us at our boat.

Both customs and agriculture were very pleasant and with our organized paperwork clearing in was a smooth process. Agriculture cleaned out our fridge of all fresh produce and milk products not from New Zealand.

We spent the rest of the day visiting and calling family. The evening was topped off with wonderful friends at the Hawaii Yacht Club. We are happy to be back but we can’t help but feel a little like visitors. We have an extensive list of boat projects but we’ll keep posting weekly updates.

Cheers,

Wade and Sara
