Shifty Winds

We moved to the the north west side of Taha’a and the wind shifted to the north west which made for an interesting anchorage. Normally, the wind comes out of the east so we would be on the leeward side of the island and protected from strong winds and squalls.

We spent the afternoon diving off a sand bank into a deep drop off and although the snorkeling was not the best, we saw a beautiful Humuhumu-nukunuku-a-pua’a and these neat fish that got so excited when Wade would move around the sand because it would open up new food sources.

Cheers,

Wade and Sara
